I know it's been a while - somehow the time slips away and before I know it, weeks have passed! There is still little knitting progress to report, though I am slowly but surely making an effort to get the needles clicking again!

What a long weekend.I've start on leave from Thursday ( 25/12/08) until Monday ( 29/12/08), and managed to finish the baby sweater i've crochet with the baby bonnet ( i've finish crocheted earlier.Using all 5 skeins of yarn, i finally made it. Quite tough for a beginner like me.Not too neat for a first attempt.This pattern was designed by Joyce Messenger and you can find this pattern at www.freepatterns.com.









I've sew the tiny yatch button on it. Hope that my friend will love this baby set.

The first and last posting for this week..
Just would to share with you my new yarns.I bought it during hari raya qurban holiday at Kompleks Yik Foong,Ipoh from Lily Handicraft. This is the headquarters and they do have 2 more branch. One in Sungei Wang Plaza and the other one is at Subang Parade. I plan to visit this shop one day..one day...


This yarn cost me nearly rm70. All are imported from Japan.100% wool.50g.

Baby Bonnet

Salam gentle reader



First baby bonnet for Murni's daughter. Pattern from Hooked on Crochet!, August 2005, No 4. It took about 45 minutes to finish this hat with special stitch,cluster. Instruction given for this pattern should fit her daughter head. Her daughter is about 5 month.My daughter fit it. The hat is so stretchable.

Outing to Kenny Rogers

Yesterday we went to Kenny Rogers..We went to Kenny Rogers, Jaya Jusco,Taman Equin, Puchong.

One of my friend (adik bongsu ) want to give us a treat ( syukur alhamdulillah). He just passed the exam (gomen). Well.. thank u very much. We are waiting for him to sit for another exam. The more exam passed, the more treat we have !!! (wink) ( grin)


Nat : Ya allah so delicious..which one do i have to eat first?



Kak Zue : Erm where's my drink?? ice blended whatever ??
Nat : Patient...they are preparing it
Kid : So silent? Everyone?? ....

Kid : I'm single and available ( the one who belanja)

2nd Hat

My next posting today...i've finished the 2nd hat..this is the rib pattern.I'm using 5mm double pointed needles and 3 balls of yarns ( 50g each).



This hat is very stretchy.Even my DH head can fit it.

Outing to Jambatan Seri Wawasan

Weekend activities::

On Sunday i brought my kids to Jambatan Seri Wawasan.Since we lived in Putrajaya from 2005,we just pass by the bridge.After 3 years and my kids are grown up ( cerdik sket) and i can manage to control them i decided to take them there by walking.It's take about 15 mins to get there.After 5 mins walking my daughter want me to carry her..but i insist..just want them to get tired.( Tired >>>sleep early ).After arrived i took this picture.Friends if you have time and opportunity please visit Seri Wawasan Bridge.It has a very nice view and scenery.

I received this parcel(thanks to kak reen) on 5 th December 2008. I'm so excited and very pleased. My officemate too ( they are more excited than me including the guys ). "Hurry open it..open it".


Well when i start learning crochet and knitting, they seems wondering what am i doing actually. When my first project ( bb booties ) are succeded, they all amazed. Since then, they are the one who keeps asking and been busy checking what i am up to.

The parcel contains:

1) HAT OR SCARF KIT

Very soft yarn

2 ) FELTED BEG KIT


Yarn with circular needle 9mm

3) Yarn ( for shawl)

Right now, I still don't know when to start this new project. Currently i'm busy finishing my friends hats.I still need to knit 1 more hat for Azrin and a baby sweater for Murni ( the bonnet finished, picture soon ). My dearest officemate wanted a shawl (grin) . I will knit one for her. ( grin) .

After a long holiday...
Well i went to my FIL house to celebrate the Hari Raya Qurban.I've done the aqiqah for my kids.2 part of cow.For your info now is rainy season for east coast.This visit to Kelantan ( my DH hometown is at Rantau Panjang-very near to SG GOLOK) ,i've experienced the flood.My kids were the happiest playing with flood..They assumed it as 'sungai'.
From Sunday to Wednesday,9am -4pm,their routine is 'mandi sungai'.
