Clover Pom Pom Maker

Hi gentle reader..

No idea these days...I'm bz trying to knit the cable hat ( usaha tangga kejayaan).I bought this new Clover Pom Pom Maker from Snazzy N Such Can't wait to try it.I think i want to sew it at my new crochet curtain.The curtain still in progress about 10 %.As usual i post the picture later.

My old friend ask me to knit this hat for her lovely daughters.This hat has a cable on it.This is my first attempt to do cable..Without cable needles.Unfortunately,i don't have needle and yarn that match the pattern requirement.I hope anyone who read this posting can help me.I plan to knit this hat using 3mm double pointed needles and a Minlon 45g 100% acrylic yarn ( this is all i have at the moment).

The material for this hat is

• about 50 grams Patons Classic Wool Merino (100% wool,223 yds/204 m per 100g skein)
• 1 set US #8/5mm double pointed needles
• tapestry needle ( i have this one from the biggest to the smallest size)

How many stitches i have to add or just cast on the stitches suggested ( cast on the larger size).Anyone please help me with this..

My New Collection!!

Hi gentle reader

Finally my tunisian hook arrived after two months waiting.This is my first attempt buying from ebay.While i wondering when this hook will come to me...call the post office to trace the parcel,this hook actually already reach my office 2 months before.Safe and sound at the admin post counter..I thought that the parcel lost or something else...There is no way to find this type of hook here.Well my friend,i'm pleased to introduce to you my new hook collection

In order to do this project i have to buy all the fancy and expensive yarn...Malaysia did not produce its own yarn.We imported it from overseas.Imported goods is expensive.Very expensive.Sometimes i think i want to migrate (easy for me to buy yarn,hook etc) because i do not have any friend from oversea .Crazy me. For info,1 skein of yarn cost RM19.90-rm59.90 ( this is the good one).There goes my bonus....hu hu..

Below is my daughter baju kurung ( raya punya ).My hand is so itchy..so i've crochet the edge sleeves.It's a combination of shell stitch and a net(combination of 5 chain stitch to another 5 chain stitch)I'm using my camera handphone.So the image is quite blur or i can say it's blur :D.

Big applause and thumbs up for my dearest cyber friend Kak Jura who appeared in New Strait Times yesterday.I bought the paper early in the morning just to make sure that i would'nt miss the copy.I'm deeply proud of her.

This is the hat that i've knitted a long time ago..he he..took a lot of time to finished it..This is my son wearing that hat.I've just fold the edge to suit his head.

What a Wonderful Day!!!

I start working today....Yesterday i'm on leave because my nanny's daughter( my child babysitter) is admitted to the hospital due to fever.Her platlet level decrease badly.There is a story behind this actually...During the hari raya celebration,they went to their hometown.For your info,their babysitter's family is a cat lover.More than 5 cats lives together with them.Everyday..my child come home with scratch all over their body..he he..back to Shima( the daughter).Her cat was missing night before raya..She try to find that cat and..not only the cat she found..She also met a hairy,ugly and big monster ( i think hantu raya) but she just pass by that creature..The next morning...she wake up with all bruises on her body..a week after ( 12/10/08 )...she got the fever and admitted to the hospital.She cannot feel her body and his right eye can't even blink.Her mouth slope.She can't drink...Pity her...I think she 'kene sampuk'.. I hope she recover soon..

Back to my story..

This is my best hari raya celebration.I received a hari raya kad from Raja Muda Perak,DYM Raja Nazrin Shah.How??WHy??? My rutine job involve with all car dealers,agents,embassador and even king.Sounds like glemer huhu...but it's nothing...This is the royal card..To shiny to capture...

Salam Raya...

Hari ni masuk hari kelapan bulan syawal...Hari baru mula kerja...Masa cuti pon telefon tak berhenti berbunyi macam kerja gak..tapi aku activate silent mode ..

Cuti pon sempat lagik siapkan tempahan baby beanie n baby booties untuk anak buah opis mate.Dia request warna cream..This is a simple double crochet project.It's quite easy for beginner like me..



I also managed to finish tissue box cover..but no picture of it yet..I'll post it later...Happy Hari Raya..
